Javascript Framework Website Trend

Using Google Trend for website, I added 5 popular javascript framework website and the above chart is the result.

Is jquery.com just that much more appealing than the other framework sites or the actual framework is just that much more popular?

Those stats just prove nothing about the popularity of framework, maybe those are all people who get stuck with jQuery and search for help… You don’t know :) . Because as far i know, the only offline documentation jQuery provides a an AIR api, and thats basically it. So people are FORCED to go to the website.

Perhaps a better measure would be to chart how many jobs there are in anyone place (or globally) that specify each framework as a pre-requisite? IMO: jQuery hugely popular as it has lowest barrier to entry, and is more designer-friendly than other frameworks. That’s not to say it isn’t extremely powerful if you know what you’re doing of course.

Finally, nice site design! Very easy on the eye.
